Ben at Birkbeck - take 2
[Ed: Joe sent these pictures (see also Ben
at Birkbeck); Joe says:]
I have a few photos of Ben at Birkbeck displaying his enviably elegant and
tidy handwriting (at least compared to my scrawls):
Ben in his element at the
whiteboard
[Ed: Oh! Those swirls again!]
This is Ben inspecting a subterranean river after consuming probably too
many pints and Marlboro Reds in an Art Deco pub called the Duke while we
took a rather prolonged study break one evening. [Ed: This IS
a grating over a tributary to the Fleet - Ben and I surveyed this (I
don't think we found this specific grating) in June 2017 or 2018: see andrewcorser.com/wp/rivers/
.]
Some high quality Guinness in the Auld Shileagh in Stoke Newington...
And somewhere [Ed: identified by Dr Ben as The Duke of Hamilton] in
Hampstead after a swim in the ponds
